A High-End Desktop at a Fixed Price
At $2,299.99, the Slickdeals listing gives buyers a specific price point for a prebuilt desktop with a Core Ultra 9 285 and RTX 5070 Ti. That may appeal to people who want a ready-made gaming PC rather than selecting parts and assembling a system themselves. The listing’s stated 32GB of memory and 1TB SSD also provide a clear starting point for evaluating the configuration against other prebuilt options.
However, the price alone does not show whether this is a strong value relative to comparable systems. That assessment depends on details not included in the Slickdeals listing excerpt, such as the exact model configuration, warranty, service terms, component specifications beyond the headline, and the price of comparable PCs at the time of purchase. Buyers should also weigh pickup convenience against their location and whether the advertised units are actually available nearby.
For readers considering the deal, the key distinction is between the hardware and price stated in the Slickdeals headline and a broader conclusion about performance or savings, for which the available listing supplies no evidence. There is no quoted discount history or benchmark data to support claims that the desktop is the cheapest option or offers a particular performance advantage.

What the ACT1250 Listing Specifies
The deal concerns a particular Alienware Aurora ACT1250 configuration, not every desktop sold under the Aurora name. The Slickdeals listing headline identifies four main hardware details: an Intel Core Ultra 9 285, an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti, 32GB of DDR5 memory and a 1TB SSD. These specifics matter because desktop product families can be sold in multiple configurations, and specifications should not be assumed to apply across the whole range.
The available deal information comes from a Slickdeals Frontpage listing whose headline gives the price as $2,299.99 and describes pickup as free. The supplied information does not include the original article body or a direct retailer offer page. It therefore provides no deal history, retailer terms, stock count or verification of how the price is applied at checkout.
Retailer Terms and Stock Are Unclear
The available Slickdeals listing details do not identify the seller or establish whether the desktop remains in stock. They also do not state an expiration date, pickup locations, shipping availability, return policy, warranty coverage, taxes, or whether the advertised price depends on a coupon or account-specific terms. Those details should be checked on the retailer’s offer page before purchase.
Other configuration questions remain open. The listing headline does not specify the SSD model, power supply, cooling hardware, motherboard, or whether the memory is arranged in a particular number of modules. No independent tests are provided to verify gaming performance or thermals, and no reference price is given to establish the size of any savings. The available information supports reporting the advertised configuration and price, but not a judgment about its comparative value.
Check the Offer Before Buying
Anyone interested in the deal should check the retailer listing linked from Slickdeals for live pricing, stock and pickup eligibility. The product page or checkout should clarify whether free pickup is available at a nearby location, whether delivery is offered, and whether the final amount changes because of taxes, fees or a promotion requirement.
Before ordering, buyers can compare the exact ACT1250 configuration with other systems carrying similar processor and graphics hardware, while checking warranty and return terms alongside the headline specifications. Because the available listing does not give an expiration time, the deal’s duration cannot be confirmed; price and availability may change without notice.
